Cookery

The Cookery Group meets up once a month.  Whether it’s because of the labour involved, the economies of scale and bulk buying, or the enormous fun to be shared, some recipes and kitchen projects benefit heavily from a collective effort. This is why members love being a part of the group.  

The cookery group meets on the third Monday of each month between 10:00 and 12:00 at different TWIG members’ homes. The focus is to be part of large cooking projects or to explore an unfamiliar cuisine. Members can demonstrate recipes and attendees participate by assisting with food preparation and finally tasting. 

As a new aspect to the group, we are also investigating potential trips to producers, farms and vineyards. We welcome any feedback or ideas. 

There may be a small cost associated with this activity to cover the cost of ingredients for the group.
