Since its inception in 1985 TWIG has a history of supporting those in need both locally, in the UK and worldwide. We do this through charitable events to raise money. Our biggest yearly event is our Christmas Fair where profits made benefit three different charities chosen yearly, by our members.
We also regularly help Olympe de Gouges, a Toulouse women’s refuge, Macmillan Cancer Support and other good causes local to our area.
The association “Olympe de Gouges” helps women and their children who are victims of domestic violence. It is part of the National Federation of Women Solidarity (Fédération National Solidarité Femme) and is committed to their social and professional reintegration.
In 2025, Olympe de Gouges helped over 200 women. Their restaurant continues as a catering workshop where women can learn skills which will help them find employment.
The association Espoir-pancreas is dedicated to supporting people with pancreatic cancer as well as their loved ones.
Their missions revolve around informing and raising awareness of the disease, accompanying patients by offering listening, supplying information and support throughout the care process, organising days of exchanges between patients and health professionals, advancing early detection and promoting research, improving early detection and involving patients in therapeutic trials.
Les Cœurs pour l'Espoir is a charity situated in the northwest of Toulouse whose aim is to help the most disadvantaged in society around Toulouse. What began with a few meals distributed in the streets of Toulouse has become a real solidarity movement thanks to the commitment of residents and volunteers.
Today, the story of Hearts for Hope continues through the distribution of food, clothing and social support to help everyone regain dignity and independence. Volunteers prepare and distribute hot meals, hygiene kits, and share conversation and solidarity during distribution.
Our thanks go to the all the people who support the TWIG Christmas Fair.
The Vendors, Volunteers, TWIG Members and their families and the Pibrac Town Hall.
